Spinal Decompression
Non-surgical decompression is a type of motorized traction that helps relieve certain types of pain and pressure by gently stretching the spine.
Gently stretching the spine changes its force and position. These changes take the pressure off the spinal discs by creating negative pressure in the disc. As a result of these changes, bulging or herniated discs may retract, taking the pressure off the nerves and other structures in your spine. When the pressure is off the nerves and other structures, this helps the body promote the movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the disc so they can heal.
